Departure and arrival points of the Mountain Bike Marathon will be located at the Parque Fundadores in Torreón City, in one of the adjacent streets. The race will take place in November 18th, starting at 8 am. Bikers will do a short race thru some avenues in Torreón City, to commemorate the city’s centennial.
Then, official departure will be in the corner of Múzquiz and Boulevard Independencia streets. From here, participants ride thru Miguel Alemán Street in the city of Gomez Palacio, up to Sarabia Avenue in Lerdo City. From there, the route goes to the velodrome, where the dirt road begins on the north side of Nazas River
Once you arrive into Monterreicillo town, you must cross Nazas River up to Villa Juarez Valley. At this point, the single track begins with a total distance of 31 miles to go back to Monterreicillo town. From here you ride thru a road leading to Villa Juarez town where you will take again dirt road on the south side of the Nazas River. Here you will ride 2.23 miles of singletrack leading to the velodrome
At this point you have to take the “Canal de Sacramento” (Sacramento Canal) up to Miguel Alemán Boulevard, all the way to Torreón City and then turn to take the final street leading to the finish line of the Cardenche Mountain Bike Marathon.
12.7 miles of paved road, 16 miles of dirt road 11.5 miles singletrack miles.
Departure will be five minutes after the marathon group. The ride will be almost the same, but bikers will take a short cut in the area named "Base de las SS”. From this point, bikers will take singletrack leading to the “Pista de las Abejas”. They will gather with the marathon group at the end of the “Bajada del Suspiro”.
